Stonestreet Farm is asking for name suggestions for Rachel Alexander 's colt:

Suggest a Name for Rachel’s Colt

Rachel Alexandra and Curlin’s very spirited colt needs a name and we are looking for suggestions from racing fans! We are looking for a name that reflects the legacy of the late Jess Jackson and embodies the vision through which he bred his two champions to produce this very special colt.

To Submit Your Name Suggestion

• Please submit one name via email to [email protected] by 12 midnight EST on Sunday February 19^th, 2012.
• Your entry must include your name, mailing address and phone number.
• Only one entry per household will be considered.
• If an email contains more than one suggestion, only the first name will be considered.
• In the event the final selection reflects multiple submissions, a drawing will determine the winner.

The colt’s name will be revealed approximately 30 days after the submission deadline.

The winning suggestion will receive an overnight stay for two* in the guesthouse at Stonestreet Farm in Lexington as well as a private tour of the farm and visit with Rachel and her colt.

*We are unable to provide travel expenses to and from Stonestreet to the winner

Please note that Stonestreet Farm reserves the right of final approval on the name selected.

I KNOW I AM LATE TO SUGGEST A NAME FOR THE NEW BABY. I THOUGHT RAC, AS IN RACHEL ALEXANDER CURLIN OR CAR AS IN CURLIN ALEXANDER RACHEL. I AM SURE YOU HAVE NAMED HER BUT CAN'T FIND THE NAME ANYWHERE. THANKS, MARION

Sorry that I missed this deadline to name Rachel's colt. Well anyway, if I had to choose, his name would be "Out of the Blue".
