Regularly inspect tack and replace anything worn or damaged

Avoiding horse related accidents caused by faulty tack is easy - thoroughly inspect the spots subject to the greatest wear and tear eg.

Leather under buckles

Holes that fasteners slip into

Stress points where leather loops around metal

Check all hardwear and stiching

then replace or repair the worn or damaged items.
